For this season we bring you a very special reading and writing event: Silent Reading & Writing Meet Up - Halloween Edition!

Last year we had ghostly decoration, pretty lights, Halloween costumes, and candy!

This year we are raising the odds a bit, and alongside all that, we are adding a fun Halloween Bookish Quiz to the equation!
This means we will pair you all up in teams - a great reason for you to bring your friends along - and the team who scores more points will get spine-chilling books!

Time stamps for the day:

3pm: Readers & Writers start coming in

3:30pm: Silent Reading & Writing Session officially begins

4:30pm: End of Silent Reading & Writing Session

4:50pm: Halloween Bookish Quiz begins!

6:30pm: Event ends.

Of course this is a tentative schedule; we’re not going to be too strict and you’ll have enough time between the ending of the Silent Reading & Writing and the beginning of the quiz to get drinks, food, or take a break. If you want to leave before the quiz starts, that’s perfectly fine too!
The event should end the latest around 6:30/7pm.

The quiz questions relate to horror/crime/thriller books/pop culture, with an easy-but-still-a-bit-challenging approach, without obscure literature references, and with a mix of old and new!
So - despite the theme - fear not! Join us and we can promise it will be fun!

Although not mandatory, everyone is super welcome to wear a Halloween costume.
